The Bluebell Nursery is Ofsted registered setting, where the staff are fully trained and DBS checked. All staff, parents/carers, students and volunteers share a commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of the children.
The nursery is an inclusive setting and welcomes all children and their families. We welcome diversity and the children always have the opportunity to speak their home languages of; Polish, Romanian, Chinese, Indian and Spanish as well as English. Makaton and pictorial cards are routinely used to aid communication for everyone.
The environment promotes the safety and security of children. The setting is homely, with access to a secure garden. Children also enjoy regular walks into the local woods where they interact with nature, and the public, in a safe and disciplined way always under the close observation of staff. The children are observed to ensure their individual progress is tracked and referrals to any other support or services are made in a timely manner. This is undertaken so that all of our children can have a smooth transition to reception.
The Owner and Manager of the Nursery is a qualified primary school teacher with years of international experience. The Deputy Manager is a qualified Level 7 and has over 5 years’ experience of Early Years.
